My Travels.

I may only be half way to fifty, however I have already discovered the amazing uplifting affect the world can have on someone. I vow that before I am dead, I will have explored every centimeter of the world and what it has to offer.

Most recently I spent one month in Europe... yes, I am aware one month is a very short amount of time. I'd like to think of that trip as a sneak peek, something to spike my interest and make me go back for round two, and possibly three or four.

From London → Paris→ Chateau→ Barcelona→ Arles→ French Riviera→ Monacco→ Florence→ Rome→ Venice→ Vienna→ Munich→ Tyrol→ Swiss Alps→ Rhine Valley→ Amsterdam

Never spending more than two days in one place, yes it was exhausting packing and unpacking, yes it was difficult to eat healthy, yes at times it was difficult not having your own space. But would I do it again? Over and over and over again. I learnt so much about myself and my thresholds, and more importantly, about other ways of life. How other counties live, how they communicate, I saw that working a good job, getting yourself into debt then spending your life paying it off, is not the only way to live, unlike the way I have seen in my own upbringing and that of the people around me.
I saw so many exciting places and land marks, ate so much food, things that I never thought I could even touch like snails and frogs legs, met so many interesting people and learnt other languages.
Saw buildings that I had only ever seen in cartoons or animated movies but really actually exist.
I had watched the movie Marie Antoinette a few times, but I actually got to see the building in which she was kept before she was hung, and so many more. The world is such a tremendous place that has so much to offer. It is definitely worth seeing while you still can.
