Can you go a day without coffee?
If you answered no, but it's because you choose to.. well.. you're in denial.

Although coffee can be used as a recreational way to enhance energy, stamina and alertness, it can also lead to long term damage as shown in this video.

It's important for you to know that I'm not saying coffee shouldn't be drunk.. not saying that at all.
What I am saying is that I don't think people research enough about the liquids and solids that we give our body. I am more of a 'naturalist'. I know that I can get artificial energy from coffee based substances, but I choose sleep, vitamins and minerals, exercise and most importantly... will power to stay awake.

Check it out, and enjoy.

So,  one thing you can be sure about is that there are so many different opinions on weight loss in this day and age. I, having studied fitness and nutrition, have a different view than some others, and they would have different ideas to others before them.. etcetera etcetera.

However, one thing I truly believe is.. You cannot sustain weight loss without exercise!
How do I know this you wonder? Well once upon a time I weighed in at 95.5 kilograms... and 12 months later, I now weigh 70 kilograms and have dropped three dress sizes. And no, for all you lazy people out there, I didn't rely on any fad diet or use a celebrity marketed detox drink.

I simply ate fresh, organic and healthy foods, drank at least 2L of water per day alongside 1 hour exercise sessions, 6 days a week.
I used to be a "it's too hot to exercise" or "I'm tired, I'll do it tomorrow" kind of person.. you know what it got me... absolutely nothing. You're just letting yourself down. Why start next Monday? Start today and get a head start, it's not that difficult.

Some people think using energy to exercise will make you more tired, and for the first 2-3 weeks that's true. It will be a struggle, your body will ache, it'll hurt to do the simplest things like walk, sit down on the toilet and even lifting your arm up to take a drink. But when is it ever easy to make a dramatic change? The answer: NEVER. But with time and persistence, it won't be a challenge anymore.

Once you've gotten past the shocking your body stage, it gets easier. I promise.
You'll then start making even more changes like taking the stairs instead of the escalator, buy a bottle of water instead of the soft drink, and go for a walk or hike instead of sitting inside watching television on the weekend.

But none of these things will happen if you don't take the first step.
There are so many competitive outdoor bootcamps available in your area, all you have to do is look. Even gyms are dropping their memberships prices to encourage people who really want to make a change. So my question is, what have you got to loose?
